Brazilian Designs On Infix

Translator’s joy after 15-year quest

I’ve been using PDF editor for 15 years now. Paid, unpaid, free or open source. None, and I mean none of the well-known names in this market provided me with this combination of easy-to-learn, easy-to-use translation related processes.

My main need today is translating PDF docs from English to Spanish to take advantage of a wealth of literature in the Safety industry that it is not transferrable to Spanish-speaking environments.

As an educator and consultant, this ability that InFix provides is invaluable.

Editing Greek PDFs

I have received a sample price list in PDF and I tried to make some necessary changes as to to change names and description of the products into my language (Greek).

I tried to do by using edit command of Acrobat but it was impossible.

Then a friend of mine suggested to try to download infix PDF editor.

I did it and in minutes I corrected all the names to Greek. It was the easiest, fastest more accurate work.

I would like to suggest to anyone who wants to make changes on any PDF document to try Infix PDF editor.

A true PDF spell-check – worth the admission price

Just the spell check alone is worth the money.

As far as I know, there is no other PDF application nor plug in can really spell check the actual contents of the PDF, not even Acrobat itself. All others product claims to preform check can only check the “Comments” field.

Some even suggest to go back to the original document file to run spell check there. Which is unpractical as most of us receive PDF file without the access to the original and we need to spell the PDF file.

All the other features in Infix [are] just as good as Acrobat if not better. The “Contents Text Box” works well for extracting text from various part of the document and replace back to same file. Good for contents requiring translation.

A time saver for this type of task if you need to have a few rounds of translation edits.

Antique books restored with PDF editor

Your product is simply wonderful.

We’ve tried most products regarding PDF conversion and editing but none offer the flexibility and ease of use as Infix.

We restore books of antiquity and create new pages without the blemishes, library stamps and the like. Your product makes our job much easier and we are able to produce wonderful replicas of works of beauty restoring books of old.

The additional features regarding tracking revisions and document protection are perfect for our business or any business that wishes to protect their PDF content on-line that has a collaborative workforce working on various aspects of a document.

We especially like the “lightweight” impact on our systems meaning your product loads fast, does not slow down any operating system, and is compatible with office production and work-flow programs.

We highly recommend Infix Pro for small or large projects.
Please consider Infix Pro as your company standard for PDF editing. We did.

Help with filling-out PDF tax returns

I help non-resident landlords with their tax returns and find Infix PDF Editor incredibly helpful for filling out forms for companies and individuals. It’s very easy to use and makes editing forms quick and hassle free; I used to do drafts by hand for clients with multiple accounts – there is now no need to as I can simply make changes to the form on my PC and email clients their drafts.

Fantastic product that I can highly recommend for home or office use! Very good for those that do self assessment.

Student avoids bookmark pain in gluteus maximus

Hello, I´m an university student from Germany.

For my lectures there´re a lot of different books I have to read, so it´s very useful that my university offers some of them as eBooks (PDF).

Unfortunately most of them don´t have integrated bookmarks and it´s really a pain in the ass if you have to create them manually. So I tried some PDF-tools, but most of them don´t have the option to create bookmarks automatically and if [they did] it got messy, because they p.ex. made for mathematical formulas extra bookmarks.

With Infix you can select the fonts, which you only want to accept as bookmarks and get easily the results you desire.

I can finally just get my literature I need and just start studying without dealing with the nonsense of creating bookmarks manually, which is reason enough for me to use Infix.

Web search offers solution to old papers

I found Infix software in a “change embedded font in PDF” search.

My non-profit organization has old paper documents that it wants to archive, and we want to make searchable versions available to our members.

These paper documents were created with fonts that are not accurately recognized by OCR software, so simple “scan to PDF” functions or image file format conversions do not work by themselves. OCR suspects aren’t necessarily recognized in Acrobat.

This is where Infix comes in. The EDIT/FIND & REPLACE/REPLACE FONT functionality can replace all fonts with a commonly recognized one such as Times New Roman. After fixing a few OCR errors to hidden text with Infix OCR CORRECTIONS, search functions work as needed. Documents appear as originally created.

Making PDF’s searchable is only one of the useful editing functions in Infix. More generally, the value is being able to edit the content of a PDF without having the source file available.

Frustrated by a dose of sheets

I just recently started using the Infix demo software, and I must say that I find this to be the best software available for editing PDFs.

What I like about Infix is that it allows you to directly edit the text of a PDF. All other PDF editors I have used do not actually allow you to edit the text of a document. They only allow you to add objects over the document that then can be edited. It’s not an actual edit of the document. It’s more similar to a transparent sheet being placed on the document, that can then be manipulated.

Infix is a better solution because of what I mentioned before, the ability to directly manipulate the text of a document instead of having to figure out a workaround.

Personally, I maintained a database that consisted of thousands of PDF files of news articles, and I found it a pain, if not downright impossibility, to format and edit these articles for ease of reading. Now with the Infix software. I can easily change what I need to in an article. No workarounds.

If you regularly work with PDF documents and need to edit them, then definitely consider getting Infix. It’s vastly superior to other PDF editing software packages.
