
Argus comes with a variety of example configurations covering most of the capabilities of the software. Useful in their own right they also serve as a convenient starting point for creating your own configurations.
Argus Plain Text Sample Configuration
Config File
- textConfigs/text.cfg
Output plain text in WinAnsii format. This is not suitable for Solaris/Linux since they use ISOLatin1 which is slightly different above 127.
Command Line
- argus -c textConfigs/text.cfg UserGuide.pdf
Sample Data
- Input file UserGuide.pdf
- Output files UserGuide.text
Important Config Values
- [Argus Controls]
Text Path - defines the directory path, filename and whether there will be a single file or a file per page for the output text
