Argus comes with a variety of example configurations covering most of the capabilities of the software. Useful in their own right they also serve as a convenient starting point for creating your own configurations.
Argus OPI HTML Image Extraction Sample Configuration
Config File
- imageConfigs/opihtml.cfg
Extracts images from the PDF and saves each image as an individual JPEG file. The name of each image file is derived from the OPI data in the PDF thus, if present, the original image file name will be preserved. An HTML document is also output. This includes each JPEG image and all OPI dictionary data for each image. This particular configuration is more of a template than a directly useful configuration. It illustrates very well what image OPI data Argus can extract and how it could be used.
