Argus comes with a variety of example configurations covering most of the capabilities of the software. Useful in their own right they also serve as a convenient starting point for creating your own configurations.
Argus RTF Table Sample Configuration
Config File
- rtfConfigs/table.cfg
Example configuration for PDF documents which contain tables of data which must be output in RTF format. This configuration illustrates the use of an ANNOT PLAN for converting batches of similar PDF documents which contain tabular information. This config file was based on the rtfConfigs/reflow.cfg config file and was produced using the process described in the Pre-Programming Annotations section of the Argus Reference Manual.
Command Line
- argus -c rtfConfigs/reflow.cfg -a expenses.pdf > temp.cfg
This command produces a config file, temp.cfg. The ANNOT PLAN from temp.cfg was then added to reflow.cfg to produce table.cfg. - argus -c rtfConfigs/table.cfg expenses2.pdf
This command produces the RTF output including the tabular data.
