
Argus comes with a variety of example configurations covering most of the capabilities of the software. Useful in their own right they also serve as a convenient starting point for creating your own configurations.
Argus HTML Reflow Sample Configuration
Config File
- htmlConfigs/reflow.cfg
Converts PDF into simple HTML suitable for use in any browser. All pages are placed into a single output file which is put into its own folder in a the “docs” folder. Images are output and stored in the same folder. Text is reflowed and de-hyphenated - layout is not preserved.
Command Line
- argus -c htmlConfigs/reflow.cfg UserGuide.pdf
Sample Data
- Input file UserGuide.pdf
- Output files UserGuide
Important Config Values
- [Argus Controls]
Text Path - defines the directory path, filename and whether there will be a single file or a file per page for the output text
Image Path - defines the directory path and filename for the output images
