
Argus comes with a variety of example configurations covering most of the capabilities of the software. Useful in their own right they also serve as a convenient starting point for creating your own configurations.
Argus HTML Linked Pages Sample Configuration
Config File
- htmlConfigs/linkedPages.cfg
Generates simple HTML output suitable for all browsers. Creates a separate HTML page for each original PDF page plus a bookmarks page which are put into a subdirectory of the “docs” folder. Also places “previous”, “first” and “next” links at the top and bottom of each page. Images are output and stored in the same folder. Text is reflowed and de-hyphenated - layout is not preserved. Font styles are rendered using the style tag.

- argus -c htmlConfigs/linkedPages.cfg UserGuide.pdf

Important Config Values
- [Argus Controls]
Text Path - defines the directory path, filename and whether there will be a single file or a file per page for the output text
Image Path - defines the directory path and filename for the output images
