Argus HTML Entity Character Map Sample Configuration
Config File
- charMaps/htmlSimple.cmap
This is not actually a complete Argus config file. It is a CHAR MAP section of an Argus config file. This file is included in the HTML reflow.cfg and table.cfg files. The character map definition maps Unicode bytecodes to simple HTML entities. This is not a complete mapping for all HTML entities but it does cover the most common ones. This is useful for older browsers/HTML versions which do not include Unicode support.
See reflow.cfg description for an illustration of usage. Note that the © character on the first page of the sample output file has been mapped the the HTML
entity ©.
Important Config Values
- [CHAR MAP]
