Was I happy to find your site and your software! I'm just starting on a project to update half a dozen PDFs. I already did one with Adobe Acrobat 8 (argh!!!) and this Mac software called PDFPen which is better, but still not the best. Nothing I have seen will do the reformatting and the reflowing like Infix. It actually makes working on a PDF as easy as typing and saving. ...one day I had to modify a file in Russian and I faced a problem. Acrobat 8 does not work with Cyrillic fonts. There is no font which it can display correctly: the letters in Cyrillic is all abracadabra. I tried many fonts, no success, and I gave up then. Maybe there are some settings, but so fine that I didn't discover them. Professional products of Adobe, such as PageMaker for instance, provides the support of Cyrillic, but it is of absolutely other price bracket. I have tried most of the popular programs for PDF editing and Infix was the only one which could manage Cyrillic fonts properly. |
